WELCOME

I’m Shawn Pennington, President of the Missouri Conservation Agents Association (MCAA).  I’d like to invite you to be a part of the 3rd Annual MCAA benefit golf tournament for Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).  MCAA will be hosting the tournament in cooperation with Old Kinderhook Resort & Golf Club, located at the Lake of the Ozarks in Camdenton, Missouri.

This year’s 4 person scramble golf tournament will be on Sunday, August 9th, 2009.  Your entry fee of $100 per person ($400 per 4 person team) includes green fees, cart, beverages during the tournament, registration gift, steak dinner, and banquet following the tournament!  Tournament participants may play a practice round on Saturday, August 8th in the afternoon for only $20 per person.

The goal of this tournament is to raise money and awareness for the C.O.P.S. Spouses Programs.  C.O.P.S. was created in 1984, and membership in the group sadly includes more than 15,000 families across the country.  This nationwide organization, with headquarters in Camdenton, Missouri, provides resources to assist in rebuilding shattered lives of the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

Companies or individuals may participate by sponsoring a hole at the tournament, entering a team, making cash donations, or providing an item(s) to be used as raffle or auction items during the banquet.  Sponsors and Donors will receive special recognition at the tournament and banquet.

Proceeds from the event go to C.O.P.S. to assist with Surviving Spouses Programs.  Many officers have seen the benefits the spouses of fallen officers gain when they attend these programs.  These programs provide surviving spouses the opportunity to network with other survivors and mental health professionals.  We all hope we never have to use the programs, but it is nice to know it is available when needed.

Please follow the links for the Tournament Entry Form and the Tournament Sponsor Form.  I hope to see you at the tournament and we thank you for your support.
